File Management & Backup System

Our backup system that we make in general saves your files with a date/time stamp. They will be saved to another part of your hard disk and any external hard drives. If you have computers networked the files will also be saved on each computer.

Files such as Word docs can also be copied and not only have the date/time as part of the file name but also the customers name and if required the type of letter or perhaps invoice.

So a file name could be look like 2010-01-18 18-03-44 Bill Smith Invoice.

Because files backed up are given a date/time in the name it means each back up done does not overwrite the previous backup. Since the files are copies as opposed to special backup files it means you can open them a normal.

Whole folders can also be backed up and this is done by the system copying the folder as a sub folder to another folder and with the saved folder have a date/time in its name.

The system we make is extremely flexible in what you want backed up and how you have it backed up. For example we can have it set up to back up pre determined files or file types but you could select any other files in addition as required.
