Outlook is the email system that comes with Microsoft Office.

Because Outlook is part of MS Office there are all sorts of things that can be done and they can be done while still using your current email whether it be Outlook Express, Windows Mail (Vista) or Windows Live Mail (Windows 7) or any other email system.

To fully utilise Outlook it is usually tied in with either Excel or MS Access and especially Access.

.If you have MS Office Standard instead of Professional you won’t have Access. However, that is not a problem as we install a special version of Access which is free from Microsoft. Basically, this version of Access runs programs that developers have made in Access and it is called Runtime Access.

You can have attachments automatically saved from incoming email and to a pre determined folder. You can even have different types of attachments saved to different folders. The body of the email can also be automatically saved and both the attachments and body of the email can be linked to a customer. You outgoing emails can also be fully automated with attachments and customer details.

You can have Access create an invoice in Word and then attach it to an email or you can have it form the body of the email including the formatting that was used in Word.
