Ms Office Access Solutions
Microsoft Access is part of Microsoft Office Professional. If you have standard MS Office then it won’t have Access. However, that is not a problem as we download from Microsoft what is known as Runtime Access. This is free and is designed to run programs made by developers in Access.
Access can be used for the most simple task all the way through to the most complex relational data base for multi employee businesses.
A lot of the work we do in Access does not involve making a true data base but rather to launch or perform other tasks such as automating emails, backup systems, file management, automatic emailing of invoices and the list goes on.
When meshed with MS Word (and also Excel) Access can virtually appear to be working some magic. When combined with what we do in Access for file management it leaves no stone unturned.
Access is often used to replace Excel when things are getting advanced.
If you currently use MYOB we can make in Access what amounts to a customised bookkeeping and invoicing system.
If you currently use Excel then we can usually improve your Excel application by running it from Access.
Access will also link to Google. You may have a list of your customer’s details in Excel. Access could automatically open Google Maps for directions from your address to your customer’s address.
In short, if you wrote of a long list of things you would like your computer to do with a “click” then Access can probably achieve what you want.
Cost
It quite literally ranges from as low as $50 to $10,000. In the case of smaller businesses with a couple of employees it is rare for our work to exceed $2000 and with many jobs being in the $50 to $500 bracket.
