If you use Excel we can enhance your Excel application or perhaps get you over some hurdles that are stopping you from getting to the next stage.

A lot of Excel work we do is simply solving some problem or showing you how do something that might require advanced knowledge. Much of this work is done for $50 and usually involves the client emailing is the Excel file. We always suggest you make a copy of your Excel file (or files) and leave a few dummy records or alter details etc.

The work we do can then be transferred to your Excel file or files.

We don’t usually make full Excel applications but use Access instead (you don’t need to have MS Access) and there are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, Access has a much greater capability than Excel. Secondly, one of Excel’s strong points is that the average non computer person can learn how to do quite a bit in Excel themselves. However, once you start paying someone else then you might as well benefit from the power of Access.

There is also another reason. If we made you an advanced Excel application then unless you are quite advanced with Excel yourself you won’t be able to do much with what we have done for you.

In a nutshell, once you get a professional involved then it is best to allow him to use the best tool and that is invariably Access.

What we often do if someone has an Excel application (or several Excel files) is run them with Access. This allows you to look at and use what you are use to but it is powered by Access
